Jen began her yoga journey in 2001 when a friend invited her to a class and she’s been hooked ever since! Yoga has been integral in her recovery from a spinal injury, and through it she's been able to find joy and grace in movement again without pain. She's benefited from yoga physically, and has also been transformed by the positive effects yoga has on her mental and emotional well-being.
Jen is a registered yoga teacher at the 500-hour advanced level, and received her teaching certification through Shanti Kelley, of Shanti Yoga Practice. She has received her Kids Yoga Teacher certification from The Little Yoga House. Jen is also a certified Yogapeutics instructor, a program that blends yoga with therapeutic tools to strengthen the mind and body, by incorporating aerial yoga with mindfulness. She is also certified in CPR.
Jen is passionate about sharing the magic of yoga with kids and families everywhere, and is grateful to call The Little Yoga House her home studio. She’s constantly inspired by her students, teachers, friends and family.
When not on a yoga mat, Jen keeps busy playing with her dog & family, traveling the world, performing as an aerialist and stiltwalker, and making costumes!
