LYH Kids Yoga TT
The Little Yoga House Kids Yoga Teacher Trainings
After many years of working in the field and running a successful yoga & aerial yoga studio for families , owners Abby Nagler and An Dang created a teacher training program based on their extensive knowledge of teaching yoga to babies through pre-teens. Their approach to these training offerings has been to collaborate with other experts in the fields of behavioral development, developmental anatomy, and occupational therapy to provide trainees with a well rounded approach to working with kids through yoga.

What should I expect?
TLYH Kids Teacher Training is an intensive. This means that we spend a lot of time together doing both movement and lecture in a short amount of time. We will be sitting on the ground during the lecture portions of the training so please make sure to bring any additional items you may need to make it as comfortable as possible. There will be a lot of movement and partnering, however we never force anyone to participate in anything that makes them uncomfortable. However, we do encourage that you give it a try!
What should I bring?
Please bring a mat, water bottle (we have a water fountain to refill bottles), a pen and light snacks. We will have a few snacking options here as well. You will be given a manual that covers everything we will learn in the training so you are welcome to leave additional notebooks/journals at home.
We are hard at work adding brand new advanced and more specific modules to our training program! We are also working on an online platform so those that are far away can join in on the kids yoga fun.
For those of you who have trained with us, we will be rolling out our teacher membership site which will offer lesson plans, videos and tons of new ideas to add to your classes.
Stay tuned for all the goodness coming soon ya'll!
You can pay in full upon registration or a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. The remaining payment MUST be made 2 weeks prior to the course. We do not offer full refunds ever. If you cancel your registration within 30 days notice you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the course you will not receive any refund, but you may transfer to the next upcoming training. There will be a $75 processing fee to do so.
"I left the training inspired and equipped to play yoga with kiddos and families"
"TLYH Teacher Training was so fun and I learned so much! Abby & An have years of experience and training that they wrap up in an incredible kids yoga training that is hands-on and personable. I left the training inspired and equipped to play yoga with kiddos and families. I am grateful to be a part of the amazing community at TLYH!"
"After taking this training, I feel completely confident using tools that kids find fun..."
"The TLYH kids training has been one of the best trainings I have had. Having always worked with adult populations, I found that I had limited tools when working with kids. After taking this training, I feel completely confident using tools that kids find fun and actually work to teach yoga! The TLYH staff personally live what they teach, they uphold the principles of yoga, and listen to the wisdom of their clients in order to help kids live a mindful and vibrant life. I highly recommend this training to anyone who wants to learn how to teach yoga to kids, but also to anyone looking for creative ways to bring yoga to life for adult populations as well!"
