About Kait Coats

I developed a love of movement from an early age when I started dancing as a kid and have continued to do so throughout my life. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Webster University with and emphasis in Ballet and I use my background in dance to make each class a creative and dynamic experience. My goal is to provide a space for lightheartedness while creating presence, balance, and strength in the body.

Cumulatively, I have over 1200 hours of trainings, and have been teaching for over a decade. I’ve worked with clients of all ages, experience, and background, but I’m first and foremost a student! I always want to learn more about the body and functional movement. I try to read new information about new approaches to yoga/Pilates/aerial, take different instructor's classes, and go to all the additional trainings my schedule (and wallet!) allow!

When I’m not teaching or taking a class, you’ll find me pretending to be Mary Berry in my kitchen! I love baking and cooking! If I’m not baking I’m probably sitting outside to enjoying a well made cocktail. Life is all about balance and when I’m not being physically active in my classes, relaxing with my friends and family is my number one priority.
