My whole life has been centered on athletics. As a former collegiate volleyball coach, I introduced my players to yoga through DVDs to help with soreness and flexibility. Little did I know that 15 years later yoga would become deeply integrated into my own life.
After studying Human Performance in graduate school I became more intrigued by the inner workings of the human body. I worked as a personal trainer and club volleyball coach but needed more “inner peace” in my life. I had a sporadic personal yoga practice but encouraged my clients to try yoga because I thought it would be good for flexibility. Little did I know the depth and scope of what yoga can provide for one’s mind, body and spirit.
After completing my 200 hour Hatha teacher training at Yoga Yoga, I immediately enrolled in the first kid's training held at The Little Yoga House. I have expanded my training and love into coaching teens and tweens with a local Life Mastery Program and mentor ship under Edith Troen. Aromatherapy is also a passion of mine and has led me to combine it with yoga for an amazing outcome with students. I enjoy empowering others with the knowledge of natural alternatives to proactive healthcare.
