Melissa Abdine (RYT 200) is a recovering Type A who has been benefitting from the practice of yoga for over 16 years. After the birth of her 2nd child in 2009 she began exploring Bikram and Iyengar based vinyasa yoga. It didn’t take long for her to discover the mind and body benefits from consistent practice. She loves yoga and the way it makes her feel! It also helps her stay active and present for her daughters. In 2013 she took her practice to the next level by completing her first teachers' training with Gioconda Yoga. Melissa also completed a kid’s yoga training in 2015 with The Little Yoga House. This ongoing process of learning provides a continuous well of insight and passion that inspire her teaching for adults, kids, and families! Melissa’s classes are alignment based, playful, and refreshing. When she is not on her mat, you can find her drinking way too much coffee with her husband, biking around the ‘hood with her daughters, or chilling out in her backyard.
