Cristina Fritz

Cristina Fritz. is a native south-east Austinite, mother of one very energetic little boy, fitness coach, yoga teacher, and youth educator. She is also a knowledge fanatic. As such she knew since the age of 5 that she would be a teacher. At the time however, she had no idea what exactly that completely entailed. When you make the commitment to knowledge, there is no turning it off.

Born and raised in Austin, Cristina proudly graduated from Texas State University’s College of Education- San Marcos in 2005. Directly following graduation she began teaching general education for Austin Independent School District. Due to the needs of her campuses, she had the pleasure of teaching in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Pre-Kindergarten classroom settings. She also served as a grade level inclusion classroom instructor for both Gifted and Talented and Special needs student populations. Following the birth of her son, her entire outlook of the world shifted. She found the true definition of awareness, gratitude, & practice. She began to truly nurture her innate desire to serve. Yoga drew her in with empathic focus towards realigning her intentions. After dedicating her focus to the study and teaching of primary education, she found herself blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with her son and devote herself to aligning her spirit. She has now transitioned from an education profession and part time passion work as a fitness instructor to a full time yoga teacher and trainer.

Cristina has served the local Austin fitness community for the past eight years as a corporate wellness group instructor, fitness coach, personal trainer, and yoga teacher. She received her 200 RYT and children’s yoga training from The Little Yoga House. Though Cristina’s collective fitness experiences she believes that a holistic & reflective practice is essential. She finds renewed energy in surrounding herself with positive beings and hopes to continue on the path to sharing her yoga practice and skill set with the community at large. Cristina’s collective experiences now all come together now for the purpose of building others up in the most meaningful ways possible. She believes that the most powerful path to create change in this world is through the sharing, collaboration, and innovation of knowledge.
